Saturday's Tears

Last saturday my boyfriend and I had the opportunity to perform a few songs in the little stage of an (even more) small cafeteria. The audience was not massive at all but it was a chance to feel the experience of singing and playing live. It was the first time ever for me to do a live performance singing. The very first song we performed was a meaningful piece titled Tears. The song is important to me in many ways, first of all because it was the first song my boyfriend played to me after our first dates, of course I relate the chords and sounds to that time and to those extremelly sweet moments we have lived. Besides the lyrics bring very pure and beautiful phrases that in the whole and indivivually I really love. For me Indovina's voice gives the song a line to draw up an atmospehre or a place to stay in which I can feel safe and comfortable. Is full of tender and delicate sounds that make me have the sensation I am listening to an ode to the feelings that you hide and burn you inside and the possibility of creating new places in which we can love freely.

"If only I could carry you away, If we really were all we need, we’d have to create another place that no one else has ever been, if only I could learn how to love as strong as the pain I feel, I could dry our tears"

It was a matter of love and time...

For me, In order to understand the way I approached Johnny Indovina's projects I should start by saying that the first time I dated my boyfriend, back in 2005, he showed me the Feel album and some if his favorite tracks. My first tender memories about those first days of discovering my love for Eric are closely related to the tracks I remember from that day, while heading Coyoacan in his car, specially Death of an angel... those chords and sounds now mean much more that the surprise of finding love in an unexpected way. I didn't get Human Drama immediatly... it took me a couple of months to start feeling the true loving sensations that now I am able to recall... to create from my own astonished soul listening these songs. Once I discovered this tickling and effervescent sensation I hold it to my heart and head (and the whole me as a matter of fact) and now I know that I won't let it go... never... The fact is that (mainly) Human Drama is one of those few bands that are capable of shaking my emotions this intense and profound way...

Tender kiss to my soul

I opened this blog because of the need I feel to express many of the new sensations my soul is experiencing thanks the music of Human Drama, Sound of the Blue Heart, Memory Burn... all those Johnny Indovina's projects.
This is a bilingual experiment for the expression of sensations and feelings... provoked by, since and from Indovina's music.
